Dears’ Week

Photo-loaded and extremely long post coming your way

Unlike most couples, Raphee and I don’t go on dates on a regular basis. We could hardly squeeze it in our busy schedule. Besides, it’s not like we don’t get to see each other everyday, eat together everyday, talk to each other every minute of everyday. So yeah, as far as we’re concerned, we still meet the purpose/s of dating. Still, it doesn’t mean that we don’t like burning holes in our pockets every once in a while just to make our relationship stronger, and ourselves happier. And last week was the perfect time to do this. A week just after one filled with exams.

Monday

Had a date at SM North EDSA since we wanted to have our studio pictures taken at Mitsubishi. I guess I’ll forever be thankful to my high school friends (#IamPP) for introducing me to the place. Imagine P50 for pictures as good as this!

Scanned each and every corner of The Block looking for that special restaurant and finally decided it to be Aristocrat. I used to eat here as a kid tagged along by her parents and I never considered it any more special than McDonald’s. In fact, I hate its branch somewhere in Manila for its claustrophobic environment. So much that I never realized how good the food is! Not until now and that’s all thanks to my dear. I know he liked the food too ‘cause I can barely talk to him while his plate had still some food in it. :)

Before heading for a dessert, we first burned some calories at Tom’s World. Spent most of the tokens at some machine that malfunctioned to our benefit. Haha! That earned us a pretty good amount of tickets but we didn’t exchange it for any prize yet. Not yet. :>

Yogi Berry! It sucks that it was my first time to prepare my own froyo. I heard it’s the same in Frutti Froyo but I haven’t been there so this Yogi Berry experience amazed me. I was even ogling at the toppings and was so happy to sprinkle marshmallows on our yogurt. Dear promised we’d go back there some other time and spend P200 on our froyo. Can’t wait! :)

To complete our Mondate, we watched a movie! Our first with popcorn! It came complementary with our movie tickets that’s why. Hihi. The movie was Journey 2 and it’s nice although I think it would’ve been better if I read the books  mentioned in the film. :p

Tuesday

Our class ended at 2:30 PM and since Raphee’s interview orientation was not until 5 in the afternoon, we bonded a bit during the time in between. And Universitea was the place to be! I swear, their milk teas are far better than any other I’ve tasted before. Better than Etcetera, Bubbatealicious and yes, better than Moon Leaf.

I always enjoy reading this chalkboard while sitting on the couch with him. Sometimes, when no one’s looking, I also impart my own penmanship into it. Dear ♥ Dear! *oink oink*

After our tea time, we spent the rest of the afternoon talking in what I consider to be the most peaceful place in the campus. Or maybe not. But the thing is, the place just gives me that feeling of seclusion from all the world around us. I’m selfish when it comes to him and I just love having him to myself. :)

Wednesday

Love is truly in the air

Told dear days ago that I haven’t had anything from Banapple other than their famous cakes. Thus, he made me try it last Wednesday. He was even kind enough to pick my meal—hickory smoked barbecued country ribs. And I liked it! I think I’ve told you this already, but I have no doubts when it comes to his food preferences.

Just us busy with our food. I don’t know what Raphee got for himself but it tasted good too!

Sweet tooth on! Got myself a white truffle something something cheesecake while dear had his favourite Reese’s cake. I was lured by the girlyness (pastries have genders too, you know haha) of the cake but my tongue says dear’s masculine cake is yummier. And oh, just a trivia about us: the first thing Raphee told me about himself was that his favourite chocolate is Reese’s. That was a very memorable day for me. You see, I’ve always had a little crush on him. Hihi :”>

Thursday

You still with me? If you are, then thank you. Also, you might wanna clap your hands since this day doesn’t have any pictures in it. I thought you might be already tired of our faces and my nonexistent food photography skills. Haha! Anyway, it was a normal school day except that we didn’t have our laboratory class, thus allowing us enough time for another milk tea session. Yay!

Friday

Jogging attire!

After almost an entire week of indulging in everything delizioso, we figured we had to lose those extra layers of fat we acquired. Jogging’s been in our mental to-do list for the longest time and we just knew last Friday was the perfect day to do it. I’m no good when it comes to physical activities and I’m just so thankful to him for keeping up with me. :)

Looking forward to more weeks like this! >:D<
